Dr Malhotra, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners, moved to Australia in 2016. Following his fellowship, Dr Malhotra recently moved to Melbourne after working in rural Victoria as a General Practitioner. Over the past ten years, he has managed acute emergencies, headed rural community clinics, and managed a diverse patient population.

Dr Malhotra is a highly skilled GP in Boronia, well-versed in all the latest guidelines and new drugs, and ensures that all his patients receive the best possible care.
Managing cardiovascular disorders and obesity is Dr Malhotra’s special area of interest. His knowledge of current approaches and procedures for treating ischaemic heart disease and atrial fibrillation is extensive. He strongly believes in managing patients holistically and improving the root cause of disease, thus preventing disease progression.
His other area of expertise is treating skin diseases in addition to heart conditions. His specialties include acne, fungal infections, hair and nail disorders, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and other papulosquamous conditions. Additionally, he performs non-surgical and surgical cancer removals of melanoma, melanocytic lesions, and benign skin tumours.
Currently, Dr Malhotra is pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Skin Therapy and Pain Management.
He has extensive experience in emergency procedures, including wedge resections, nail removals, INDs (incisions and drainages), Implanon insertions and removals, IUD insertions, lacerations, etc.
Aside from pre-employment medicals and work cover, he also provides Q-Fever/travel vaccinations and is accredited with Injury Net. Currently, Dr Malhotra bulk bills all patients providing quality care.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends in his free time. His non-clinical interests are trying out new cuisines, travelling, and watching cricket.
